Sleepy Joy, 36x48

This 36x48 inch oil painting is on a wrapped canvas. It was another accidental turning point in my art. It started as a portrait, but the more I worked on it, the more I realized I wanted to portray a feeling. So, my portrait transformed into this mass of rich blended colors, just like the world does as you fall asleep on a sunny, fall afternoon.
